Does the Amazing Flygun work?
This is the first question everyone asks … YES it really does work !!! Obviously it is great fun to use … but our customers get very excited when they discover just how devastatingly effective the Amazing Flygun actually is. What does the Flygun do?
It's a plastic gun that shoots a spring-powered swatter at flies (and mosquitoes). So forget about poisonous aerosol sprays and boring fly swatters – The Amazing Flygun is the 'FUN fast 'new millennium' way to get rid of flies.

Will the Flygun break easily?
The Amazing Flygun is hard wearing and will see you through many a desperate battle with winged pests. We tested one Flygun by firing it two thousand times against the wall and it was still working well (the wall, sadly, never really recovered). The only thing to be careful about is to not leave the Flygun loaded when not in use as that will obviously start to weaken the fully compressed spring in the swatter.

Who buys the Amazing Flygun?
EVERYONE - it appeals to all ages 8-80 (14-80 in EEC). Males especially love the idea of hunting flies … it's a caveman thing. They make fantastic gifts for birthdays or as Christmas stocking fillers. Do the flies stick to the swatter?
In most cases the fly falls to the ground intact. Should the swatter ever need cleaning, however, it is fully washable.

Could the Flygun cause injury?
As the swatter is flat and 65mm wide it can't cause injury. Even if accidentally shot at the body, the worst that can happen is a slight sting. There have never been any reported injuries or complaints and we don't anticipate any. We have successfully passed a consumer safety test for toys.

Doesn't the Flygun make a mess?
The women always seem to ask this question … NO, IT WON'T SPLAT THE FLY - if you inspect the swatter you will see that it has a series of ridges as well as a slight curvature - this design feature, combined with just the right amount of power in the spring, ensures that the fly is killed or knocked out ... but not squashed.

What is the best way to shoot flies?
The most effective shooting position is directly above the fly at a distance of 30 – 60 cms. Don't make sudden movements and the fly won't see you as a threat … now gently squeeze the trigger … goodbye fly !! Shooting flies at an angle is a bit harder and needs practise. If you fancy yourself as a real Amazing Flygun expert then you can try knocking out a fly in mid-flight … it's not easy … but it can be done … happy hunting

What about damage from flying swatters?
A metre long string attaches the swatter to the gun, preventing it from flying away too far and making it easy to retrieve after each shot.

How is the Amazing Flygun sold?
We can send you a single Amazing Flygun or several hundred. The more you take, the cheaper they get. We also sell them in retail outlets using an eye catching display stand with a built in testing unit that enables customers to try one out. Some of our shops have sold up to 600 Amazing Flyguns a month.

Who are Wonderfully Weird?
We are a company based in Cape Town at the foot of Africa (no, we don't have elephants wandering down the high street). From our office windows we look out onto the spectacular Table mountain on one side and the rolling Atlantic ocean on the other. Within this serene environment we manufacture one product … one really great product … The Amazing Flygun.

Are my credit card details safe?
Absolutely. Your payment is processed by Worldpay, who are world leaders in secure internet transactions. When we need you to enter your credit card number you are first automatically linked to them using the highest level of commercial encryption (128 bit SSL) - in plain English this means quite simply that it is impossible for any unauthorised person to see your private details. Nowadays credit card transactions online are routine and 100% safe - a whole lot safer than handing over your card to a waiter in a restaurant.

What if I want LOTS of Flyguns?
Need a few hundred … we will post them to you by insured post (order page) If you have a shop we run a special deal where we can air freight 1050 Flyguns with our unique (and extremely effective) tester unit / display stand to you within days, at a great price that will allow you to sell them for at least 100% markup on your total outlay (including delivery and any duty).

Can you deliver anywhere in the world?
Yes. We are 10 minutes from an international airport and your airmailed Amazing Flygun packets will be winging their way to your country very soon after we dispatch your order.

How soon will we get our Amazing Flygun?
To keep costs down we use the post office's airmail service for the small orders - most destinations tend to receive their Flyguns 5 -14 working days after ordering although obviously we are in the hands of the postal folk in your country. In the unlikely case that you still haven't received anything after 28 days then email us at tracking@amazingflyfun.com and we will look into the situation. More postal information.

We take your security and right to privacy very seriously. Any information you give us is for our use only. We don't do Spam. Our policy is very strict - We NEVER sell, exchange or give away your email address to any other companies. We use your information to complete your order ONLY.
We will only email you again if you have specifically requested that you wish to be informed in the future about special offers and new products. Even then you are given the option to discontinue subscribing to these newsletters at any time.
